How Native Token Bridging Works

Native Token Bridging is a sophisticated framework facilitating the seamless transfer of tokens initially minted on different blockchain networks. This process is overseen by the issuer of these tokens, ensuring instant finality and effective management. These tokens retain their original native characteristics yet gain the ability to transverse various blockchain ecosystems without compromising their security or value.

With Native Token Bridging, liquidity needs to be added to the bridge contract to enable it. When bridging, users tokens will be deposited in the bridge contract, and they receive the equivalent amount of native tokens on the target chain. Liquidity can be added or removed from the bridge contract as needed by token issuers.

This technical solution introduces a new level of interoperability, allowing users to harness the potential of multiple blockchains while maintaining trust in the assets' issuer-driven management.
