Argochain & WAGC Bridging Available at ChainPort

ChainPort has completed the integration of DevolvedAI’s ArgoChain as its 29th supported blockchain, further enhancing its cross-chain infrastructure. This milestone allows Web3 projects to bridge assets to and from ArgoChain, expanding access to its innovative ecosystem.

Following the integration of ArgoChain, bridging support for the WAGC token has now been added. WAGC token holders on Base can bridge their WAGC tokens to ArgoChain and receive wrapped WAGC tokens, or WAGC, and vice versa. The wrapped gas token, WAGC, can be unwrapped on ArgoChain and used as gas for transactions.

How to Bridge WAGC from Argochain to WAGC on Base in 3 Steps

Step 1 - Connect Your Wallet

Head over to the ChainPort app (https://app.chainport.io/) and connect your wallet. Wallets such as Ledger, Trezor, Coinbase Wallet, Wallet Connect, and Metamask are supported by ChainPort.

Step 2 - Select the Chains & Token

In the drop-down menu, select the source blockchain and token. In our case, the source chain is Argochain, and the token is WAGC. Select Base as the target chain.

Step 3 - Confirm Tx & Get Tokens

Before confirming the transaction, please review all the related information. Details include the source and target blockchain, gas fees, and the specific number of WAGC tokens. Once all details are confirmed, please approve the transaction and wait a minute or two.

After the transaction, you will receive WAGC on Base.
